Gray Rodgers is a UK-based neurodiversity advocate, multidisciplinary artist, and poet with a passion for championing autistic and neurodivergent voices through creativity, community building, and systems-level change. Identifying as male-presenting non-binary and autistic, Gray brings both lived experience and frontline advocacy to the conversation.
In 2014, Gray founded the Swadlincote Aspergers Society, a grassroots organization supporting autistic individuals in Derbyshire. Their leadership earned them a nomination for a National Epic Award in 2018 and recognition in campaigns like the National Autistic Society’s “I Exist”. Gray was also a contributing voice to the UK's Autism Act 2009 and the Adult Autism Strategy, shaping inclusive policy with a personal lens.
As an artist and storyteller, Gray uses visual art, poetry, and narrative to explore themes of neurodivergence, identity, and resilience. Their work has been featured in anthologies, postcards, coffee-table publications, and across platforms such as Goodreads, Cara, and Arts Derbyshire. They are a trustee of People Express, where they promote inclusive arts programming in underserved communities.
Online, Gray connects with a wider audience through platforms like Instagram and TikTok under the handle @sfvetneph, offering creative advocacy, poetry, and raw reflections on navigating life as a neurodivergent person in a neurotypical world.
Gray is available to speak on topics including:
Lived autistic experience & late diagnosis
Artistic expression as a tool for advocacy
Community organizing & mutual aid
Neurodiversity and gender identity
Policy gaps in autism support and social care
Gray’s mission is to amplify authenticity without apology—unfiltered, creative, and unapologetically neurodivergent.
